The client of acquired two smaller but still significant operators and asked Synaptitude to play a key part in analyzing the three billing organizations and making recommendations for the strategic direction forward for these billing operations.
Synaptitude’s staff performed a detailed analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats regarding outsourcing and offshoring opportunities and provided recommendations to management. These recommendations included a detailed comparison of offshore locations with over 15 different criteria rated with citations to industry research and a weighted ranking of these locations based on the client’s priorities. The recommendations also included development of a Request for Information which was delivered to the client’s key partner vendors, after which Synaptitude followed up with analysis of vendor offerings.
Results and Benefits
The client has implemented a billing strategy consistent with many of Synaptitude’s recommendations. As a result, the financial processes of the acquired organizations have been smoothly integrated into the business operations of the combined entity, resulting in cost savings and reduced administrative overhead.
